A Pre-Inspection Audit helps prepare the laboratory before an on-site inspection by a regulatory agency such as CLIA, COLA, CAP and AABB. All laboratories must comply with the minimum standards set by CLIA. This type of audit reviews the laboratory's documentation on proficiency testing, quality assessment, personnel and equipment. The results of the audit will identify and address any deficiencies in these areas.
